On the 19th of October 2016 DANDELION organised the Quadruple Helix workshop at the Slovak Liaison Office for Research and Development, in Brussels.
The purpose of the workshop was to foster the discussion on “how to better communicate SSH research results to maximise their societal impact”.
The workshop was organised in focus groups engaging the dialogue in topics related with:
- the innovation in SSH research and (current) key socio-economic challenge;
- the communication gap and interaction barriers among stakeholders; and
- the benchmarking of IIRS projects for the valorisation of dissemination and communication strategies and impact.
The participants were composed by stakeholders representing the Quadruple Helix model, namely:
- Researchers from the broader field of Socio-economic Sciences and Humanities;
- Social incubators, SMEs, education and training providers, consultants;
- Policy/decision makers and advisors;
- Public agencies active in supporting/promoting R&I collaboration and Liaison Offices;
- Science communicators, Civil Society Organisations, Non-Governmental Organisations;
- H2020 National Contact Points as well as coordinators of H2020-IIRS projects;
- EC officers from the DG Research and Innovation and the Research Executive Agency.
